HISTORIA: Cartucho diseñado en 1886 por el tirador Ira Albert Paine (1837 – 1889) e introducido por Smith & Wesson en su revólver S&W Single Action No.3 para tiro al blanco. Estuvo en producción hasta aproximadamente 1915.
