HISTORIA:
Elgin T. Gates (1922-1986), ganador del prestigioso premio “American Handgunner”, fundador y presidente de la “International Handgun Metallic Sillhouette Association” (IHMSA) creó toda una familia de cartuchos extraordinariamente potentes para revólver: .357 Rem Maximum, .375 Super Magnum, .445 Super Magnum y .455 Super Magnum.
La vaina se obtiene a partir de una de .30-40 Krag, reduciendo la pestaña.
Parece que ningún fabricante importante produce estos cartuchos y sólo Starline vende vainas.
En resumen, un cartucho de distribución marginal para los amantes de las sensaciones fuertes.
